Description
This unit specializes in the manufacturing and processing of thermosetting and thermoplastic composites using a wide range of technologies, including Sheet Molding Compound (SMC), Resin Transfer Molding (RTM/CRTM), infusion, pultrusion, compression molding, multilayer lamination, filament winding, casting, injection molding, and thermoforming.

- Formulation and additive incorporation cell for thermoplastic and thermosetting resins
- Composite molding cell using RTM, CRTM, infusion, compression molding, and microwave oven processing
- Equipment for manufacturing SMC composites and thermosetting and thermoplastic prepregs
- Pilot plant for applying coatings to flexible substrates, with a paint-curing oven
