Description

This unit focuses on assessing the risks associated with emerging contaminants in surface water and groundwater (PTA).

Its objective is to generate robust analytical data on the presence, distribution, and behavior of emerging contaminants in aquatic systems.

Equipment

  • High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) coupled with single-quadrupole mass spectrometry — for the separation, detection, and identification of organic contaminants at low concentrations.
