The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) service is in charge of providing a spectra recording service, maintains the hard and software of the spectrometers, assists in specific problem solving and spectra interpretation, and advises on spectroscopic topics in relation to supporting research.


NMR 500MHz Nuclear magnetic Resonance (NMR) laboratory is equipped with a 500 MHz spectrometer with z-gradient for gradient-enhanced and variable temperature experiments,a simultaneously tuned to 1H/19F BBI probe for routine work, along with a triple resonance 1H/13C/31P High Resolution MAS (HRMAS) probe for applications in biology or combinatorial chemistry. Minispec The minispec is a Time-Domain NMR spectrometer working at clinical MRI field (1.5 Teslas) specially designed to study MRI Contrast Agents. The effectiveness of a potential contrast agent is assessed by NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) relaxation studies, particularly NMR spin-lattice and spin-spin relaxation times (T1 and T2) .
