Evaluation of the mechanical properties of polymeric materials, including tensile, compression, flexural and peel behaviour, impact resistance, hardness, dynamic mechanical properties and resistance to deformation or softening under heat.

Techniques and equipment: Instron universal testing machine, Charpy and Izod impact tests, Shore A/D and Rockwell hardness measurements, dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), and heat deflection temperature and Vicat softening temperature tests (HDT-Vicat).
