TEKNIKER’s collaborative robotic cell is equipped with a large oval conveyor belt (4.2 × 3.1 m, 500 mm wide) and a centrally positioned 6-degree-of-freedom (6-DoF) robotic arm. It is designed to simulate and validate continuous-flow production systems, particularly for automated sorting, inspection and recycling applications.
The cell enables the integration of multispectral machine vision and artificial intelligence (AI) for material identification and classification. It operates without perimeter safety fencing, thanks to collaborative Proximity Detection Systems (PDS) that ensure safe human-robot interaction.
