TEKNIKER’s collaborative robotic cell is equipped with a FANUC CR-14iA/L robot with 6 degrees of freedom (6 DoF) and a certified 3D RADAR safety system (PILZ). It is designed for the research and validation of Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) applications in industrial environments.
The cell enables the exploration of different interaction interfaces, including voice-based interaction (NLP/LLM), gesture-based, haptic and visual interfaces, as well as the study of collaborative robot behaviour in the presence of human operators.
It operates without perimeter safety fencing, using human proximity detection and dynamic response mechanisms to ensure safe collaboration between operators and robots.
