TECNALIA’s 3D Technologies and Solutions Laboratory provides capabilities in computer vision, Extended Reality (XR), and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) within the Digital domain.
The laboratory integrates key technologies, including LiDAR and 3D sensing pipelines for static and dynamic point clouds; tools for localization, perception, and semantic analysis of point clouds; and a software stack for computational and generative design, optimization, and digital twins. These capabilities enable reproducible testing and data capture.
The laboratory supports 3D automation in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AECO) sector and industry, digital twins for asset management, and 3D object detection and tracking, facilitating development, validation, and technology transfer.
It aims to improve performance, safety, and user experience in digital and industrial solutions.
