CIDETEC’s laser equipment enables the surface texturing of plastic and metal materials, as well as surface roughness reduction of up to 60% in specific areas where components require a different surface finish from the rest of the part.

The available laser systems include:

- CO₂ laser (30 W): Easy Mark
- Green laser (7 W): TruMark 3220
- Nd:YAG laser (25 W): Rofin Powerline E25
- UV laser (5 W): TruMark 6350

This facility is complemented by surface roughness measurement equipment and additional surface characterization tools for evaluating thermography, corrosion, wettability, gloss, mass loss, changes in component geometry, and other surface properties.
