NEIKER’s Immunology Laboratory is equipped to study host–pathogen interactions and evaluate immune responses in the context of health and disease, as well as in therapeutic and vaccine evaluation trials and genetic screening.
The laboratory is designed to support projects and validation activities in the agri-food and biomedical sectors.
Its key equipment includes a flow cytometer, an inverted fluorescence microscope, and an Incucyte system for live-cell imaging and analysis. It also has specialized equipment for immunoassays, including Western blotting (protein electrophoresis and transfer apparatus) and ELISA (microplate reader/spectrophotometer).
