TECNALIA’s Human Factors and User Experience (HF&UX) Laboratory provides capabilities in computer vision, Extended Reality (XR), and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) within the Digital domain.
The laboratory integrates key equipment, including psychophysiological sensors (EEG, GSR, and pulse monitoring), eye tracking, facial and pose detection, RGB and thermal cameras, and the HF-Engine platform for signal synchronization and analysis, enabling reproducible testing and data capture.
It supports usability and acceptance studies, digital ergonomics, and the customization of interfaces and XR-based support systems, facilitating development, validation, and technology transfer.
The laboratory aims to improve performance, safety, and user experience in digital and industrial solutions.
