An infrastructure designed to simulate a flexible manufacturing environment using an Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) and a high-precision external six-degree-of-freedom (6DOF) tracking system.

It enables components to be intelligently and accurately transported between workstations, industrial robots to be volumetrically calibrated, and manufacturing and quality inspection operations to be performed with measurement uncertainty below 0.1 mm.
