Description

TEKNIKER’s machining workshop is dedicated to research and development (R&D) and is equipped with 3-axis and 5-axis machining centres, CNC turning equipment and electrical discharge machining (EDM) by die-sinking, all featuring integrated process data acquisition systems.

The facility enables machining processes to be tested and optimised under different lubrication conditions, including conventional cutting fluid, minimum quantity lubrication (MQL), dry machining and cryogenic machining.

These capabilities are directly applied to improving productivity, extending tool life and assessing the machinability of new materials.
