Description

TEKNIKER’s robotic cell is equipped with a 6-axis industrial robot and a diode laser with a power output of up to 10 kW. It is designed to perform localised surface heat treatments, including hardening and surface quenching, on large metal components without the need to place them inside a furnace.

Cooling takes place instantaneously through self-quenching, without the use of liquid coolants. This simplifies the process and reduces the risk of dimensional distortion.

The galvanometric scanning head enables scanning speeds of up to 3 m/s, allowing large surface areas to be treated with high productivity.

Equipment

  • Diode laser with a power output of up to 10 kW
  • Fixed-optics head for treating predefined areas
  • Galvanometric scanning head for high-speed processing (up to 3 m/s)
  • Rotary table for treating cylindrical components
  • 6-axis industrial robot for positioning and guiding the laser head
Services
  • Localised surface hardening and quenching of large metal components, performed on-site
  • Furnace-free surface heat treatment using self-quenching, without liquid coolants
  • Remelting and phase transformation in specific areas
  • Optimisation of laser process parameters, including power, speed and spot size
  • Validation of surface treatments to improve hardness and service life
