A testing facility for conducting high-power tests on grid-connectable equipment, with a maximum capacity of 300 MVA for 1 second.
Connected to a 220 kV high-voltage (HV) grid, the facility can provide test voltages ranging from 2.7 to 39 kV for medium-voltage (MV) applications and below 1 kV for low-voltage (LV) applications.
The laboratory covers short-circuit testing, breaking capacity, switching operations (opening and closing), internal arc testing, current withstand capability, transients involving inductive and capacitive loads, and specialized temperature-rise tests. It also supports short-circuit testing of transformers rated up to 10 MVA.
The facility includes a control room, two test rooms, and fiber-optic-isolated measurement systems.
It is accredited by ENAC under ISO/IEC 17025 (accreditation no. 4/LE148) and registered with LOVAG and the IECEE CB Scheme.
