Description

IKERLAN’s experimental infrastructure for understanding the formation and reactions of different combustion fuels, particularly natural gas and hydrogen, used in pure form or blended with natural gas or ammonia.

Its aim is to develop technologies, strategies, and products that minimize adverse events such as flashback, reduce pollutant emissions, and optimize combustion in applications such as advanced burners and next-generation industrial and domestic boilers.

Equipment

  • Experimental facility for combustion testing using natural gas, hydrogen, and fuel blends.
  • Instrumentation to support testing and combustion characterization.

Services
  • Combustion testing and experimentation (natural gas / H₂ / ammonia).
  • Flashback assessment and mitigation.
  • Combustion optimization and emissions reduction.
  • Support for the development and validation of advanced burners and boilers.
