Ensuring the quality of manufactured components requires the use of advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) systems.
Depending on the type of defect to be detected, this facility provides several inspection techniques: ultrasonic testing for volumetric defects, eddy current testing for surface defects, X-ray diffraction for residual stress measurement, and machine vision.
The facility is complemented by powerful simulation and post-processing tools that facilitate the interpretation of inspection results.
Equipment
- X-ray diffractometer: Xstress 3000.
- Ultrasonic testing equipment: TPAC system and CIVA simulation software.
- Machine vision system: 2D and 3D cameras and associated software.
- Eddy current testing equipment: SGNDT systems.
- Automated NDT evaluation
- Feasibility studies and analysis of NDT inspection methods and machine vision applications
- Simulation of inspection processes
- Testing and assessment of the stress state in different components
