Description

This High-Content Screening (HCS) platform combines automated fluorescence microscopy (widefield and spinning-disk confocal) with transmitted-light imaging techniques, including brightfield and digital phase contrast, alongside advanced image and data analysis.

It enables the acquisition and processing of large volumes of cell-level data for biotechnology and pharmaceutical studies, improving the efficiency and accuracy of cellular assays and establishing GAIKER as a leading facility in this field.

Equipment

  • High-throughput HCS system for widefield fluorescence and spinning-disk confocal microscopy
  • Transmitted-light imaging modes, including brightfield and digital phase contrast
  • Excitation system based on eight LEDs, covering wavelengths from near-ultraviolet to infrared
  • 16-bit, 4.7-megapixel camera capable of recording at up to 105 frames per second (fps)
  • Automated cellular image acquisition and analysis system
Services
  • High-content cellular screening for cell biology, pharmacology, toxicology, and biotechnology studies.
  • Multiparametric analysis of cellular responses to compounds, materials, or stimuli.
  • Development and validation of advanced cellular assays.
  • Support for drug discovery and optimization projects, including therapeutic development.
  • Generation of high-resolution quantitative data for modeling and R&D decision-making.
