AZTI’s Marine Microbiology and Biotechnology Laboratory brings together expertise in food processes and bioprocesses within the food sector. It supports projects in sectors such as agri-food, public administration and business clusters. It incorporates resources and equipment such as incubators, laminar flow cabinets and autoclaves, which enable operations to be carried out under representative conditions. It offers services including microbial detection and enumeration, specific marine cultures and bioprocess support, with expert assistance in campaign design, data analysis and interpretation of results. Its key contribution is to generate traceable evidence and data to accelerate knowledge transfer to public authorities, clusters and businesses.
