AZTI’s Microbiology Laboratory (P2/P3) infrastructure brings together expertise in food processes and bioprocesses within the food sector. It supports projects in sectors such as agri-food, pharmaceuticals and genetics. It incorporates resources and equipment such as fermenters and reactors, autoclaves and incubators, enabling operations to be carried out under representative conditions. It offers services in cultivation and fermentation, bioprocess development and the validation of control measures, with expert support in campaign design, data analysis and the interpretation of results. Its key contribution is to generate evidence and traceable data to accelerate technology transfer to public authorities, clusters and companies.
