TEKNIKER’s platform consists of three autonomous mobile vehicles of different types: an omnidirectional heavy-payload AMR with an integrated robotic arm, a lightweight modular AMR, and a 4×4 UGV designed for outdoor environments.

The platform enables research and validation of autonomous navigation, mobile manipulation and operation in unstructured environments.

The fleet is programmed using ROS (Robot Operating System) and supports SLAM, sensor fusion, route planning and collaborative multi-robot control. Applications include industrial logistics, asset inspection and operations in difficult-to-access environments.

• SEGWAY RMP 500 omnidirectional AMR (heavy payload):

  - KUKA LBR iiwa 14 R820 collaborative robotic arm with 7 degrees of freedom (7 DoF) and a 14 kg payload capacity
• MiR200 modular AMR (light payload):
  - Four ZED 2i RGB-D cameras
• CLEARPATH Husky 4×4 UGV (outdoor operations):
  - LIDAR and camera systems
• ROS software platform:
  - SLAM (Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping)
  - Route planning
  - Sensor fusion

• Proof-of-concept development for autonomous navigation and mobile manipulation in industrial environments
• Validation of SLAM algorithms, route-planning systems and sensor-fusion technologies
• Technical feasibility studies for AMR/AGV fleets used in logistics and internal material transportation
• Demonstration of autonomous asset inspection
• Technical training in mobile robotics and ROS
