Deskribapena

A platform for integrating printed electronics onto 2D surfaces and complex 3D geometries, including sensors, heating elements, antennas, lighting systems and metasurfaces.

The facility enables the transition from technical specifications to functional prototypes through ink selection and adaptation, process definition, printing and hybrid integration, curing and functional characterization.

Its main focus is on flexibility, lightweighting and high levels of functional integration.

Equipment

  • 2D printing equipment:
    - Dispensing systems
    - Inkjet printing
    - Screen printing
  • Specialized 5-axis 3D printing system incorporating:
    - Piezoelectric jetting (PiezoJet)
    - Aerosol Jet printing
    - Microdispensing
    - Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF)
    - Pick-and-place technology
  • UV curing equipment and ovens
  • Ink characterization and functional testing equipment
