Facilities for conducting protocol conformity testing on the various components of IoT systems, with specialised capabilities for devices using 3G, 4G and IoT radio technologies, including NB-IoT, LTE Cat-M, Wi-SUN, Zigbee, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

The laboratory includes an accredited semi-anechoic chamber covering frequencies from 50 Hz to 6 GHz.

It is a Notified Body under the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU, a member of the Wi-SUN Alliance and the SECARTYS cluster, and is accredited by ENAC to ISO/IEC 17025 (accreditation No. 4/LE148).

• Semi-anechoic chamber (NSA compliant with CISPR 16-1-4, 2 m rotating platform, 50 Hz–6 GHz)
• Dedicated instruments for communicating with IoT devices using NB-IoT, LTE Cat-M, Wi-SUN, Zigbee, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
• 2G, 3G and 4G base station emulators

• IoT protocol conformity testing
• Transmission and reception testing of communication protocols
• Verification of compliance with standards and end-customer requirements
• CE marking certification under the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU
• Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and radio frequency (RF) testing
