A next-generation dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) system, DINAFAT, designed for dynamic-mechanical testing and accelerated fatigue testing of polymeric materials, elastomers, and composites.
The system aims to drastically reduce the time required to characterize long-term material behavior, including fatigue and creep, without compromising accuracy. It supports high-frequency testing, precise load control, and crack propagation analysis, enabling advanced material selection and design for demanding applications.
Equipment
- DINAFAT DMA system with a maximum static force of 1,000 N and a maximum dynamic force of 2,000 N.
- Actuator stroke of 10 mm.
- Load frequency range of up to 1,000 Hz.
- Dedicated accessory for crack-propagation-based fatigue analysis.
- Integrated force and displacement sensors.
- Control and data acquisition system for short- and long-duration tests.
- Advanced software for dynamic-mechanical analysis and correlation with fatigue life and creep behavior.
- Advanced DMA and accelerated fatigue testing of polymeric and composite materials.
- Development of accelerated testing methodologies that replicate long-term behavior, reducing testing times from months or years to hours or days.
- Support for material design and selection in transportation and healthcare applications.
- Generation of high-quality data for simulation models and component sizing.
