Descripción

This is composed by three rooms with a total of 110 m2 to perform:

Discontinuous and continuous fermentation at the 2-liter scale
Kinetic assays or endpoint assays using UV/VIS microplate spectrophotometry
Study of aerobic and anaerobic growth of microorganisms (temperature, pH, biomass, sugars, optical density, etc.)
Study of the antimicrobial activity against selected microorganisms
Fermentation and enzymatic processes for obtaining bioactive compounds
Isolation, selection and identification of microorganisms
Microbiology cleanroom with biological biosafety cabinet and micro-anaerobic cabinet
Digestibility study of complex matrices
Fluorescence and optical microscopy both direct as inverted.
