The Biomedical Applications Laboratory is designed for the validation of biomedical engineering systems, with a particular focus on medical image processing applications and the development of new surgical techniques, using a range of radiological, surgical and simulation equipment.

The laboratory's resources are made available to applied research projects carried out at Vicomtech.
