EKNIKER’s robotic machining cell is based on an 8-axis MABI milling robot and is designed for machining large components that cannot be transported to conventional machine tools.
The 8-axis architecture and mobility of the system enable the machining head to be positioned at different locations within an industrial environment, overcoming the dimensional limitations of fixed machining centres.
The system supports milling, turning, grinding and mill-turn operations on large-scale components at different locations.
