Descripción

Infrastructure for the experimental validation of hydrogen (H₂) releases and dispersion under controlled conditions, with comparisons against computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations and engineering models.

The facility includes an indoor test chamber, a gas release system using pressurised cylinders, calibrated orifices, regulators and a Mass Flow Controller (MFC), thermal conductivity-based concentration sensors, a data acquisition system (DAQ), a helium–hydrogen (He–H₂) equivalence tool, and a CFD modelling environment.
