Descripción

An intelligent polymer materials injection laboratory focused on advanced process monitoring and the generation of scientific knowledge about the behavior of thermoplastic materials during molding.

i-InjLab integrates an injection molding cell equipped with sensors, data acquisition systems, and analytical tools that make it possible to record and correlate process parameters (pressure, temperature, filling and cooling times, etc.) with the final quality of the molded part.

The facility is designed to develop advanced processing technologies, explore new formulations (including recycled materials and biopolymers), and move toward data-driven self-regulation of injection parameters, positioning Leartiker as an international benchmark in thermoplastic processing.

Equipment

  • Polymer materials injection molding cell featuring a thermoplastic injection molding machine equipped with advanced sensors in both the machine and the mold.
  • Process monitoring and data acquisition systems for pressures, temperatures, cycle times, and injection and packing profiles.
  • Laboratory-scale material processing and conditioning tools, including drying, mixing, thermal conditioning, and material changeover equipment.
  • Data analysis and processing software capable of transforming process data into useful scientific information for modeling and decision-making.
  • Infrastructure designed to support the future development of self-regulating injection parameter strategies based on the information collected.
