A system for measuring magnetic properties that enables information to be obtained indirectly regarding the microstructural or mechanical characteristics of ferromagnetic components. A non-destructive testing control system useful for obtaining information on the microstructure and mechanical properties of steels, or for detecting manufacturing defects such as variations in surface hardness, grinding burns, residual stresses or the hardened layer. A proprietary magnetic property measurement system to which various commercial sensors or in-house sensors can be attached, depending on the geometry and characteristics of the component to be tested. This system can be used to carry out manual measurements or automatic measurements using a robot, thanks to a range of specially developed couplings.
