The quality laboratory of foundry sands and foundry allows:

• Design new sand mixtures, varying the materials in terms of composition and proportions.
• Determine the physical and mechanical characteristics of sand and/or binder mixtures.
• Optimize the efficiency in the consumption of raw materials, reducing the environmental impact and economic savings.
• Control of particle and gas emissions during the setting process
• Casting by manufacturing prototype mixes
• Evaluating the suitability and efficiency of different sand regeneration technologies
